    Before you choose CLB

    Individual GTINs are suitable for identifying products in retail, e-commerce and, where applicable, the deposit-return scheme (SGR). CLB does not include an annual GS1 licence and is not suitable when you need:

    • selling on Amazon, where a GS1 licence is required
    • identifying your company or locations through GLN
    • SSCC identifiers for logistic units
    • identifying multiple packaging levels and other extended coding needs

    For these situations, choose the annual GS1 licence.
